The folks at Photobucket apparently take issue with the tag. It shows up on my Photobucket account as having been removed due to voilation of policy. What? Anyway, I immediately came back here to see what was showing, and the rude violation sign is not, as of yet, showing here. If it does appear, I'm not sure where else to host my images. I've tried Image Bucket in the past (or some such place. Image Bucket doesn't sound right), but the sig never showed up in my rotation. I know many use Fotki without such rude notices, but I don't know how Fotki works.
If anyone has a suggestion for me, let me know! PULLEEEZE!!!

P.S. I had a lovely girl, Renee, comment on this about Fotki. I was reviewing the blog this morning and saw that Photobucket finally got around to censoring this image, so it's now hosted on Fotki. Thank you, Renee, for pushing me that direction finally!

Hi ... This is the first time I've been to your blog, and I really like your tutorials. I read that you are having issues with Photobucket and had heard that many people use Fotki with little troubles at all. I have had a Fotki account for over 3 yrs now and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!
ReplyDeleteI have never had a problem with Fotki removing any of my files - including some of the more risque sig tags. I have a paid account (about $23USD/annual), but the free account is just as good. Some of the things I like about Fotki is the ability to (1) password protect albums, (2) notate whether a "photo" is mature-rated, (3) separate folders & albums according to whatever I want to divide them into ... I could go on & on, but Fotki also allows you to link back to your graphics using HTML coding ...
